48. ADJUSTING THE PARKING BRAKE (ONLY FOR BT VERSIONS)

To avoid damage to the machine or to persons or objects nearby when placing the machine in rest mode,
users are advised to check the condition of the parking brake, proceeding as follows:
1. Switch off the power supply to the machine's electrical system using the main switch (01) located on
the rear of the machine, turning the key to position "0" (valid for versions B-BT).
2. Disconnect the electrical connector (02) from the battery connector.
3. Check the distance between the parking brake pad (03) and the wheel - in rest mode, the maximum
distance should not exceed 3 mm.
4. If adjustment of the parking brake is necessary, loosen the lock nut (04) and tighten or loosen the pad
(03).
5. Once adjustment is complete, re tighten the lock nut (04).

49. BRUSH REPLACEMENT (B-BT VERSIONS)

An undamaged brush ensures a better working capacity, to replace it proceed as follows:
1. Make sure the recovery tank is empty, otherwise empty it completely.
2. Check that the squeegee body is raised above the ground; if not, lift using the lever (01) on the rear of
the machine.
3. Engage the parking brake by means of the lever (02) on the right side of the machine (only for BT
versions).
4. Put the machine in rest mode. Using the control handlebar (pushing downwards), lift the front part of
the machine so that the rear wheel rests on the floor.
5. Press the brush release button (03) on the instrument control panel. As soon as the button is pressed,
you will see the question "RELEASE?" on the screen. Press the brush release button (03) on the
steering wheel again, to confirm.
6. Remove the old brush and replace with the new one, reading the paragraph
BRUSH (B and BT
versions)" for carrying out the replacement.
WARNING: If the brush does not release, repeat the operation again until the brush
is released from the brush head.
WARNING: During this operation, check there are no people or objects near the
brush.

50. BRUSH REPLACEMENT (BB VERSIONS)
