WARNING: Always use detergents whose manufacturer's label indicates their
suitability for scrubbing machines. Do not use acid or alkaline products or solvents
without this indication. Acid or alkaline maintenance detergents can be used, as
long as they have pH values between four and ten, and do not contain oxidising
agents, chlorine or bromine, formaldehyde, mineral solvents.
WARNING: protective gloves should always be worn before handling detergents or
acidic or alkaline solutions to avoid serious injury to hands.
WARNING: always use low foam detergent. To avoid the production of foam,
before starting to clean, put a minimum quantity of antifoam liquid into the recovery
tank. Do not use pure acids.

22. ASSEMBLING THE SQUEEGEE

The squeegee, that for reasons of packaging comes disassembled from the machine, must be assembled
while assembling the machine. Proceed as follows for assembly:
1. Check that the brush head is in contact with the ground; if not, lower it.
2. Turn the machine main switch (01) to the "0" position and remove the key from the instrument panel (B-
BT versions). Turn the machine main switch on the rear of the machine to position "0" (for BB version
only).
3. Engage the parking brake by means of the lever (02) on the right side of the machine (only for BT
versions).
4. Lower the squeegee body by means of the lever (03) on the back of the machine.
5. Loosen the knobs (04) in the squeegee body pre-assembly.
6. First insert the left-hand squeegee pin on the squeegee body into the left-hand slit (05) of the
squeegee connection, then tighten the knob (04), making sure the washer and spring adhere in the
upper part of the squeegee support.
7. First insert the right-hand squeegee pin on the squeegee body into the right-hand slit (06) of the
squeegee connection, then tighten the knob (04), making sure the washer and spring adhere in the
upper part of the squeegee support.
8. Insert the vacuum hose (07) in the sleeve (08) on the squeegee body.
WARNING: these operations must be carried out using protective gloves to
avoid any possible contact with the edges or tips of metal objects.
