"SENSOR INSTALLATION" Quick Setup
Use this "Quick Setup" to determine the data required for sensor installation
such as sensor spacing (1), cord length, pipe materials, sound velocity in fluids,
etc.
– The system provides you with the sensor distance for the W/P/U "Clamp On"
versions as distance data. For the W and P sensors, you also receive the data
in the form of a letter for sensor 1 and in the form of a number for sensor 2. You
can thus easily position the sensors with the aid of the mounting rail.
– With the insertion version, you receive the sensor spacing as distance data.

Commissioning with "QUICK SETUP"
You can commission your measuring device quickly and easily using the special
"Quick Setup" menu. It allows you to configure important basic functions using
the local display, for example display language, measured variables, units of
measure, type of signal, etc.
If necessary, the following adjustments or configurations can be carried out sep-
arately:
– Zero point adjustment
– Configuration of the current outputs (active/passive)
Customer-specific configuration
Complex measurement tasks require the configuration of additional functions
which you can individually select, set and adapt to your process conditions
using the function matrix.
All functions are described in detail, as is the function matrix itself, in the
"Description of Device Functions" manual, which is a separate part of these
Operating Instructions.
Always start trouble-shooting with the checklist on Page 73, if faults occur after
startup or during operation. This takes you directly to the cause of the problem
and the appropriate remedial measures.
