About the Manage Active Conference Screen

This chapter describes how to manage active conferences (scheduled and
unscheduled) and their participants.
From the Operator View, you can:
• Extend a conference.
• End a conference.
• Add or remove a participant.
• Mute or unmute a participant.
• Acknowledge a request for help from a participant.
• Disconnect or reconnect participants.
• Send a message to a participant.
• Troubleshoot problems.
When a conference cannot start automatically, you must create the
conference in the MCU and connect to each dial-out participant.
The Manage Active Conference screen provides information about an active
conference and its participants. In addition to online help, tool tips are
available for icons in this screen. Point to an icon to display the tool tip text.
