5.5 STORAGE

After finishing work, the mower should be thoroughly cleaned. Do NOT direct water jets
directly onto hydraulic system components, lubrication points or information and warning
decals. High water jet pressure may damage these elements.
For cleaning and maintenance of plastic coated surfaces it is recommended to use clean
water or special preparations designed for this purpose. Do not apply organic solvents,
preparations of unknown origin or other substances, which may cause damage to lacquered,
rubber or plastic surfaces. In the event of doubt it is recommended to make a test on an
unseen surface area.
DANGER
While washing with detergents, wear appropriate protective clothing
and goggles protecting against splashing.
After cleaning, inspect the whole machine, inspect technical condition of individual elements.
Used or damaged elements should be repaired or replaced.
In the event of damage to the paint coat, clean rust and dust from damaged area, degrease
and then paint with undercoat and after it is dry paint with surface coat paint retaining colour
uniformity and even thickness of protective coating. Until the time of touch-up painting, the
damaged place may be covered with a thin layer of grease or anticorrosion preparation.
Mower should be kept in closed or roofed building.
If the mower shall not be used for a long period of time, protect it against adverse weather
conditions. Lubricate mower according to the instructions provided. In the event of prolonged
work stoppage, it is essential to lubricate all elements regardless of the period of the last
