cations you make to the remote control on your own initiative can
lead to malfunction and result in unexpected actions of the joint.
This can cause you to fall.
Any changes or modifications to the device may limit its use.
INFORMATION
Important user instructions on the use of the remote
control. Keep the C-Leg®compact and the residual limb still (no
bending or extending!).
For safety purposes, the working range of the remote control is
limited to approximately 100 cm. However, the remote control
will only function properly if held at least 30 cm away from the
joint. If the activation/deactivation per remote control was not
performed, ensure that the remote control is placed between
30 cm and 100 cm of the C-Leg®compact and repeat the com-
mand. If you are still not successful, perform a pairing process
(see Section "Pairing").
