- Page 10 C-Leg®compact Funktionsweise Diese Prothese ist ein elektronisches Beinprothesensystem mit hy- draulischer Stand- und Schwungphasensteuerung. Die Elektronik erkennt die entsprechenden Phasen des Schrittes und ermöglicht ein harmonisches Durchschwingen des Unterschenkels. Für Sie bedeutet diese Tatsache, dass sich das C-Leg®compact an unterschiedliche Gehgeschwindigkeiten anpassen kann und Ihnen Kniesicherheit im richtigen Augenblick vermittelt.

- Page 16 C-Leg®compact Modi und Nutzung der Fernbedienung Compact-Modus: Im Auslieferungszustand befindet sich das Kniegelenk im Compact- Modus. Es kann bei Bedarf mit der Fernbedienung in Flexionsrichtung bei einem Beugewinkel zwischen 0° und 30° gesperrt bzw. entsperrt werden (Stehfunktion). Dabei ist die Beugung in Extensionsrichtung aus Sicherheitsgründen immer möglich, in voller Streckung bleibt das Gelenk vollständig gesperrt (Sperrfunktion).
- Page 17 Therapie-Modus: Der Therapie-Modus kann nur in der Einstellsoftware C-Soft durch den Orthopädie-Techniker aktiviert werden. Sobald aktiviert, ist das Gelenk in voller Extension gesperrt, zum Beispiel für Anwendungen zur Frühmobilisierung nach Amputation. Bei Bedarf kann das Gelenk (z.B. zum Hinsetzen) mittels der Fernbedienung entsperrt werden. Beim Hinsetzen sowie beim Aufstehen unterstützt die hydraulische Dämpfung des Systems den Prothesenträger.
- Page 18 C-Leg®compact Befestigung der Fernbedienung Die Fernbedienung lässt sich: 1 an einem Schlüsselband anbringen (Abb. 1), 2 mittels eines Clips am Gürtel befestigen (Abb. 2), 3 oder kann an einer am Schaft befestigten Halterung (einlaminiert, angeschnallt oder verklebt) angebracht werden (Abb. 3). Pairing (Kommunikation zwischen C-Leg®compact und Fernbedienung herstellen) Im Auslieferungszustand muss kein Pairing durchgeführt werden.

- Page 20 C-Leg®compact Wichtige Awenderhinweise Sicherheitsmodus Neben dem regulären Betriebsmodus hat das C-Leg®compact einen Sicherheitsmodus. Sobald ein kritischer Fehler im System auftritt bzw. wenn der Akku fast leer ist, schaltet C-Leg®compact automatisch in den Sicherheitsmodus. Die Prothese stellt in diesem Modus eine hohe Flexionsdämpfung ein (hohe Sicherheit/reduzierter Komfort), wodurch sicheres Gehen trotz nicht aktivem System ermöglicht wird.
- Page 21 Sicherheitsmeldung bei fehlerhafter Verbindung des Rohradapters Sobald der Rohradapter in Betriebsbereitschaft des C-Leg®compact (bei ausreichender Akkukapazität) keine Verbindung hat, meldet C-Leg®compact mittels kurzer Beepsignale und für die Dauer von ca. fünf Minuten langsam pulsierende Vibrationssignale. C-Leg®compact aktiviert den Sicherheitsmodus, und bleibt bis zur Behebung der feh- lerhaften Verbindung des Rohradapters in diesem Zustand (solange die Akkukapazität ausreichend ist).
