bottom and the lightest system on top.

Preparing to install the J2000 into the rack

Procedure
1. Verify that all power cords meet the HPE recommendations.
The power cords extend 1.8 m (6 ft) beyond the J2000 when inserted into the rack. The maximum length of each
power distribution unit (PDU) extension plus the power module power cord must not exceed 2.4 m (8 ft). The chassis
depth is 72.2 cm (28.4 in).
2. Verify that the rail kit supports a rack depth of 68.6 cm (27.0 in) to 94.0 cm (37.0 in).
3. Verify that the correct cables and cable management assemblies are available.
Organize the cables to the side so that the unit is able to slide out for servicing.
4. Verify that the system environment meets the following conditions:
There is access to 240 V AC.
There is enough room around the rack to allow for servicing.
There is sufficient airflow around the system.
The space is dust free and well ventilated.
The space is close to an uninterruptible power supply (UPS), and the necessary power is available. The maximum
wall current is ~15 A for each 1,600 W power module.
