IOM management Ethernet cables
Use high-quality RJ45 CAT5e rated cables that support 10/100/1000 Mb/s.
Power cords
Two C13 to C14 PDU-style 1.83 m (6 ft) power cords are supplied with the J2000. Do not use extension cords with the
J2000. Hewlett Packard Enterprise also recommends the use of a power distribution unit (PDU) to manage power, and an
uninterruptible power supply (UPS) to help protect the system.

LEDs

System status LEDs

Nine system status LEDs are located along the top-left edge of the front of the J2000, just above the drive bays. The first
three LEDs provide system status. The next six LEDs provide field-replaceable unit (FRU) group status for the FRUs that
are not visible from the front of the J2000—the fans, I/O modules, and power modules. If a fault occurs, each group directs
the user to the appropriate FRU for further investigation. No LED group is required for drive carrier assemblies because
they are front loaded and are visible from the front.
