NOTE: If the latch and catch do not seat properly, verify that the alignment pins are correct for your rack.
Installing the J2000 enclosure into the rack
CAUTION: To avoid personal injury, use at least two people or a lift table or forklift to install the J2000 into the
rack. Adhere to the warnings in System weight safety considerations.
Prerequisites
•
Inner rails are installed onto the chassis (see Installing the rail kit inner rails onto the chassis )
•
Outer rails are installed onto the rack posts (see Installing the rail kit outer rails onto the rack posts)
Procedure
1. Make sure that the ball bearing retainers are at the front of the left and right cabinet member rails.
2. While facing the front of the J2000, align it both horizontally and square to the rails (1).
3. Insert each chassis member rail into the cabinet member rail (2).
4. Push the J2000 into the rack until the cabinet and chassis member rails lock into the serviceable position (3).
