Setting the IP address for bridges

Prerequisites
Requires Administrator or Operator privileges
Procedure
1. Navigate to the BRIDGES tab.
2. Select a bridge.
Use the Ethernet port settings section of the WebUI to configure IP address settings.
3. DHCP is controlled for the Ethernet port option on each bridge by using the DHCP slide toggles. The host
management IP ports are configured for DHCP by default.
Disable DHCP to set static network addresses. Click the Edit icon to edit the IP address, netmask, and gateway for
the bridge, and then click Save. Repeat this for each of the additional bridges.
If DHCP is enabled, the bridge IP addresses cannot be edited.
HPE recommends setting the IP addresses of the bridges on both IOMs to the same subnet. This allows multiple paths
to the same devices.
NOTE: Non-IP Bridge parameters are also available for configuration. These will prompt the user for confirmation of
each configuration change.

Adding and managing hosts

The WebUI allows you to manage host access to the drive namespaces through the bridge. Access to NVMe drive
namespaces is controlled through the access control list (ACL).
To add hosts, see Adding hosts.
To manage hosts, see Mapping a drive namespace to a host.
