Editing function

The same editing functions as those from the Explorer are available with the Link
Manager function, except the merging function (as this is used with txt files):

Moreover, from the Link Manager page, a whole directory can be exported , with the
files corresponding to the active tab, in a txt file.

Exporting a directory in a txt file

1 Select the Link Manager function
2 Select the directory to open
3 Select one file from the list
4 Click on
The txt file is automatically generated, in the same directory as the one selected
for the export.
The name by default for the txt file is: fiber_info_otdr.txt.
NOTE
The txt file can be renamed once it is saved.
This file is made of two parts:
• The Header, with general information: the equipment used and its serial number,
the date and time of export, the location of the file, and the number of files
exported.
• The table, containing all the fibers information coming from the files of the active
tab.
