Authentication settings

Introduction
This section provides instructions for changing the authentication settings.
Note:
Enable Auto-logoff activation
To automatically log out users after a period of inactivity, enable Auto-logoff activa-
tion. If enabled, the user is logged out after the time set in Inactivity timeout.

Set Inactivity timeout
The Inactivity timeout option, sets the time of system inactivity after which a user
can be logged out.

Changing the authentication settings affects the security of the product. It is
the end-user's responsibility to ensure that valid parameters are entered to
meet the desired level of protection.
If Auto-logoff activation is disabled, the time set in Inactivity timeout is
not applicable.
During a procedure, the system does not log out a user, even if Auto-logoff
activation is enabled and Inactivity timeout has passed.
Action
From the Sepax main menu, tap Menu →Settings →Authentication
setup.
Tap Auto-logoff activation to enable.
Result:
A green tick is shown on the Auto-logoff activation icon.
During a procedure, the system does not log out a user, even if Auto-logoff
activation is enabled and Inactivity timeout has passed.
Action
From the Sepax main menu, tap Menu →Settings →Authentication
setup →Inactivity timeout.
Enter a value between 30 and 9999 seconds.
