    Chapter 1 Product Overview 1.1 LS8M1WCMA0-OVS Overview LS8M1WCMA0-OVS, the access controller (AC) service card, is applicable to H3C S7502/7503/7506/7506R Ethernet switches. The LS8M1WCMA0-OVS starts to work after it is installed in the corresponding slot of a switch. It is powered by the switch and establishes a 2 GHz bandwidth channel with the switch through its internal interface, so as to realize the wireless control function.

    A console cable is an 8-core cable. One end of the cable is a crimped RJ-45 connector and is connected to the console port of the LS8M1WCMA0-OVS card. The other end is a DB-9 female connector and is connected to the 9-pin serial port on the console terminal.

    Step 1: Plug the DB-9 female connector of the console cable to the serial interface of the PC or terminal where the LS8M1WCMA0-OVS card is to be configured. Step 2: Connect the RJ-45 connector of the console cable to the console interface of the LS8M1WCMA0-OVS card.

    5.1 Overview 5.1.1 Files Managed by the LS8M1WCMA0-OVS I. BootWare program file The file is used to boot applications when the LS8M1WCMA0-OVS card is started up. A complete BootWare program file includes two segments: basic and extended. II. Application file WX5002 LS8M1WCMA0-OVS service cards support the Dual Image function.

    5.5.1 Configuring Ethernet Interface Parameters Before upgrading an application program through an Ethernet interface, you need to configure the Ethernet interface of the LS8M1WCMA0-OVS card as follows: Select 3 in the BootWare main menu to enter the Ethernet submenu. Then, select 5 in the submenu to enter the Ethernet interface parameter configuration interface: One protocol for download, tftp.

The LS8M1WCMA0-OVS card can use the 10/100 BASE-TX out-of-band management interface only. 5.5.2 Upgrading an Application Program Trivial File Transfer Protocol (TFTP), a protocol in TCP/IP protocol suite, is used for trivial file transfer between client and server.
