Solid State Temperature Sensor Loca-
tion:
Slowly agitate brush in oil to dislodge
any crumbs caught in it. Rinse cooking
well using oil remaining in brush when
dipped in oil. Drain remaining oil and
crumbs. Pull cover over cooking well
but DO NOT CLOSE. Turn cook/filter
switch to FILTER. After 5 minutes,
push cover assembly toward the rear
of the unit. Close drain valve.

When air bubbles appear turn cook/fil-
ter switch OFF.
Be sure hot oil is at HOT
OIL LEVEL. Be sure top
heating element is covered before turn-
ing cook/filter switch to COOK.

When filter pan has cooled, remove
and discard filter paper and filtering
compound. Using a clean cloth or
paper towel, wipe crumbs from filter
hold down, filter pan interior and top &
bottom of filter pan cover. Never use
soap and water.
