4.4.3. PASO Panels Connection

The addressable fire alarm panel iRIS4 is designed with option for connection to PASO specialized panels for voice
evacuation and/or sound management systems. The connection is realized via Evacuation Voice Module mounted
under the main PCB and connected to 'NETWORK' connector – Figure 27. The card should be fixed with screws to the
back side of the cover. Up to 5 PASO panels can be connected to the Evacuation Voice Module - Figure 28.
To use the Evacuation Voice system, the installer must program a number of parameters in menu (access level 3):
System-Programming-Panel-Sounders Mode-MORE-Evac Zones.
Attention: NEVER add or remove the Evacuation Voice Module to the fire panel configuration WHEN THE MAIN
AND BACKUP POWER SUPPLIES ARE ON!
Attention: Connection of max. 6 panels, numbered from 0 to 5, in a network (5 PASO panels and 1 iRIS4 panel)!
iRIS4 panel always takes the last number in a network with PASO panels!
