REMOVAL FROM STORAGE

EN
Check your engine as described in the BEFORE STARTING section of this manual.
If the fuel was drained during storage preparation, fill the tank with fresh gasoline. If you keep
a container of gasoline for refueling, be sure it contains only fresh gasoline. Gasoline oxidizes
and deteriorates over time, causing hard starting and clogging.
If the cylinder was coated with oil during storage preparation, the engine will smoke briefly at
startup. This is normal.
DE

FUEL STORAGE

Store the gasoline only in special can, otherwise there is a risk of fuel contamination.
Never store engine in vicinity of stoves, ovens, water heaters with pilot light, contingently
other devices which can produce sparks.
If you use contaminated gasoline there is a risk of irregular engine running or its damage.
Store minimum quantity of the fuel which you can use to 14 days. Do not use fuel older
CS
than 14 days.

DEVICE-SPECIFIC STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS

1.
Store the machine in a dry, clean and frost-protected place, out of reach of unauthorized
persons.
2.
Cover unit with a suitable protective cover that does not retain moisture. Do not use sheet
SK
plastic as a dust cover. A nonporous cover will trap moisture around the mower, promoting
rust and corrosion.
3.
Keep the machine in good condition, if necessary change warning and instruction labels on
the machine.
4.
Clean and maintain the machine before storage. Failure to correct a problem before
operation can cause malfunction in which you can be seriously hurt or killed.
5.
Clean and grease the lawn mower carefully as described above under "LUBRICATION
PL
INSTRUCTIONS".
6.
Carefully clean machine parts and accessories after each use (see Maintenance and cleaning
instructions). This will prevent the formation of mold.
7.
Carefully remove any dry grass cuttings and excess grease which may have collected around
the engine, silencer, battery (if equipped) or fuel tank to prevent their catching fire the next
time the machine is used!
HU
8.
Slightly grease the cutting area to avoid corrosion.
9.
Be careful not to bend or kink cables.
I
When storing care should be taken to rust-proof the equipment. Using a light oil or

silicone, coat the equipment, especially all metal parts and all moving parts.

TRANSPORTING

If the machine is moving along its own axis, always stop the engine and raise the cutting
height to the highest position. Always switch off the engine even if you are crossing
any surface other than grass. There is a risk of damage to the mower and the engine.
