    • Be careful when using the lawnmower near verges, ditches, or banks. Machine can suddenly turn over if a wheel is over the edge of a cliff or ditch, or if an edge caves in. • Do not operate the engine in a confined space where dangerous carbon monoxide can collect.

Make sure the moving parts are properly adjusted, and that they aren’t stuck. • Make sure that there are no broken parts on the machine or other problems that could adversely affect the operation of the machine. Breathing it can cause unco nsciousness and even kill you. Avoid any areas or actions that expose you to carbon monoxide. Sit on the seat.

    In case of an EMERGENCY, switch off immediately: Move the key to „0“ STOP Before leaving the machine, engage the parking brake and take out the ignition key. DRIVING AND CUTTING MOVING CAUTION! Be very careful when reversing. Never change direction of movement without first stopping the machine.

    Move to the grass emptying and storage area. Stop the machine and operate the parking brake. Cutting blade disengaged. Remove the bag overturning lever as shown (fig. 45,fig. 46).     SAFETY PRECAUTIONS C Always replace the grass bag if this is torn, unstitched and shows damage to the plastic profiles. WARNING! Before carrying out any inspection, cleaning and servicing operations on the machine, and before unblocking the grass unloading pipe, stop the engine, take out the ignition key and follow the instructions in the manual.

    C Be careful during adjustment of the mower to prevent entrapment of the fingers between moving blades and fixed parts of the mower. CLEANING THE MACHINE CAUTION! Do not hose engine. Water can damage engine or contaminate the fuel system. Allow engine to cool before cleaning to prevent your burning when handling with it.

    Sit in the seat and engage the parking brake move the gear lever to neutral (N), move the blade deck to minimum level (full down). Start the engine, allow the blade to turn for a few minutes. Release the bag and rinse it with a strong jet of water. Subsequently, treat all metal parts with appropriate preservative oil or grease.

    • To reduce the possibility of fire or explosion, be careful when working around gasoline. Use only a nonflammable solvent, not gasoline, to clean parts. Keep cigarettes, sparks and flames away from all fuel related parts. • Remember that an authorized servicing dealer of our company knows Your engine best and is fully equipped to maintain and repair it.

    Reinstall the drain bolt. With the engine in a level position, fill to the upper limit mark on the dipstick with the recommended oil (fig. 59). CAUTION! Running the engine with a low oil level can cause engine damage. Reinstall the oil filler cap/dipstick securely. CAUTION! Wash your hands with soap and water after handling used oil.

    To loosen debris, gently tap the filter on a hard surface. Never try to brush the dirt off, brushing will force dirt into the fibers. If the filter is excessively dirty, replace with a new filter. Wash the pre-filter in liquid detergent and water. Then allow it to thoroughly air dry. Do not oil the pre-filter.

    FUEL SYSTEM CAUTION! Spare parts of fuel system (plugs, hoses, tanks, filters etc.) must be the same as original otherwise arises danger of fire. • Regularly check the condition of fuel hoses. • Replace the fuel hose every 2 years. If fuel leaks from fuel hose, replace the fuel hose immediately.

    • Allow muffler, engine cylinder and fins to cool before touching. • Remove accumulated debris from muffler area and cylinder area. Do not use water to clean the engine. Water could contaminate the fuel system. Note: Use a brush or dry cloth to clean the engine. This is an air cooled engine. Dirt or debris can restrict air flow and cause the engine to overheat, resulting in poor performance and reduced engine life.
