Therefore, when a heat source with a heating volume more than that calculated
from the effective surface area is incorporated, the measures as shown in (2)
and (3) are necessary.
(2) Radiation volume by indirect air cooling in the enclosed cabinet: W2 [W]
When a circulating fan inside the cabinet is not enough for cooling, there is a
way of forced cooling by a heat exchanger. When this happens, arrange a
heat exchanger with required cooling capacity (W2) and a fan motor as shown
in Fig.3.5.1.
W2 can be calculated from the heat exchange capacity and
difference in temperature of the heat exchanger.
A recommended heat exchanger equipped with a fan motor is ALCOOL (sales
agent: Toei Electric). As various heat exchangers with a wide range of cooling
capacities are available, see the ALCOOL catalogs.
