Encoder Battery Box
!
CAUTION
Connect the battery box with the T9SV1 module in the main control unit when the
absolute encoder(s) are used in the servo motor(s). The battery keeps the absolute
data in the encoder(s)
Two kind of battery box are prepared.
(A) Size AA alkaline battery type (Three (3) size AA alkaline batteries)
(B) BBOX1 Size D alkaline battery type
Notes:
1)
When the CNC system has four (4) absolute axes, use a BBOX1.
2)
The standard cable length from the battery box to the main control unit is 2 m.
3)
Batteries in the battery box should be replaced with new ones every year.
Mount the box at a place where the customer can have easy access to it.
4)
Put a label stipulating that the batteries should be replaced every year, at an
easy-to-see place.
5)
Use three (3) alkaline batteries. DO NOT use any other type batteries.
NEVER connect the plus (+) and minus (–) sides of
batteries reversely.
