Cabinet Design Conditions

At design of the cabinet, noise resistance and maintenance should be considered, in
addition to the environmental conditions in Section 3.1 above.
When designing the cabinet and operation box housing each CNC unit, observe the
following conditions.
(1) The cabinet should be totally enclosed (indirect air-cooled type) and take the
following measures.
a)
Take the dust-proof and oil-proof measures by blockading the cable in-take
ports with a packing, etc.
Otherwise, a mouse may enter from the opening and cause an unexpected
trouble.
b)
A heat exchanger used for the indirect-air cooling should not allow entry of the
air into the inside. To mount the heat exchanger, use a packing to prevent
entry of the air.
c)
Attach the door packing completely.
d)
Block all gaps. If there is a cover, apply a packing.
e)
For the set box of the operation display unit, such as operation pendant, be
sure to apply a packing to the set surface, seal the cable lead-in ports with a
rubber packing, etc. to prevent entry of the air into the inside.
