Trouble-shooting

Prior to dispatch, the ATMOS LC 16 was subjected to an extensive functional test. If, nevertheless, a failure should
appear, you may possibly clear it yourself if you follow these notes:
Problem
 Unit does not start
 Insufficient performance
 No suction
Possible causes
– Loose power plug
– No power voltage
– Defective fuse
– Leakages within the hose system or
in collection jar lid
– Clogged filter
(vacuumgauge indicates vacuum)
– Float of overflow safety closes
the collection jar inlet
– Blocked filter
– Suction hose is connected to filter cover
– Secretion or blood has been sucked in
and valve plates of the pump are
contaminated
Remedy
– Check connection to supply socket
– Check inbuilding fuse
– Check whether power plug on the
unit is loose
– Replace fuse
– Check collection jar lid and hose
system, replace sealing ring on
collection jar lid, if necessary
– Replace filter
– Check filling level of collection jar;
evacuate jar, if necessary;
clean overflow safety and check
free movement of the float
– Replace filter in collection jar lid and
check correct hose connection
– Change silicone hoses on collection
jar lid (green rings)
– Unit has to be returned for repair
