Right-click on My Computer and select Manage > Services and
Applications > Services.
Result: The Computer Management window appears:
a. In the right pane, right-click on Windows Time and select Stop.
b. When the Service stops, right-click on Windows Time and
select Properties > General tab.
Result: The Windows Time Properties (Local Computer) window
appears:
c. Select Disabled from the Startup type menu.
d. Click Apply, and then click OK.
e. On the Computer Management window, verify that the Windows
Time service is disabled.
