4. Cleaning the piston and cylinder and reassembling the instrument

For the Dispensette S Organic, slide the piston into the cylinder vertically with a rotating motion.

Cleaning Digital model
The stop segment must engage underneath the cylinder's stop ring. When tightening the piston
mounting nut using the assembly tool, use your thumbs to press the piston/cylinder unit back to-
wards the back side of the housing.

Use the assembly tool to loosen the piston mounting
nut and pull the rear housing section backwards.

Then carefully pull the piston out of the cylinder.

Clean the piston and cylinder and reassemble the in-
strument. If necessary carefully remove deposits at the
edge of the glass cylinder.
b.
Rinse the piston and cylinder with deionized water, and
dry them carefully.
c.
Insert the piston completely into the cylinder and then
reassemble the instrument. The piston can only be in-
serted into the cylinder when the discharge tube is at-
tached.
