5.2.3 Sealing ring for valve block
For highly volatile media we recommend to seal the connection from valve block to bottle with the
PTFE sealing ring and PTFE tape (Accessories/spare parts, p. 72).

5.2.4 Air vent cap for micro filter with Luer-cone
For sterile media we recommend the air vent cap with Luer-cone to attach a micro filter. This provides
increased protection against contamination by displacement air (Accessories/spare parts, p. 72).

Place the PTFE sealing ring on the bottle thread or the
screwed-on adapter and screw the instrument onto the
bottle.
If necessary, seal the threads of the drying tube, the bottle
and/or the bottle adapter with PTFE tape.

Place the PTFE sealing ring on the bottle thread or the
screwed-on adapter and screw the instrument onto the
bottle.

Unscrew the air vent cap (see 'Assembly Drying tube',
Fig. a.).
b.
Screw in the air vent cap with a Luer cone.
c.
Place the PTFE sealing ring on the bottle thread or the
screwed-on adapter and screw the instrument onto the
bottle.
d.
Insert a commercially available sterile filter into the
Luer cone.
Error limits in relation to the nominal capacity (= maximum
volume) indicated on the instrument at equal temperature
(20 ºC/68 °F) of instrument, ambient environment and dis-
