5.2.2 Drying tube
Use of a drying tube, filled with a suitable absorbent (purchased separately), might be necessary for
moisture- and CO
- sensitive media.

Prerequisite:

If the instrument was in use, it must be cleaned before
installing the flexible discharge tube (Cleaning, p. 62).

Instruments with a recirculating valve should be set to
'Recirculate', and the valve lever pulled upwards to re-
move it.

Slide the discharge tube housing all the way up, then
pull it forward with gentle up and down motions.
c.
Push the flexible discharge tube holder from the bottom
of the valve block and tighten it. In doing so, the instru-
ment must not be mounted to a bottle. Install the re-
ceiver tube.
d.
Press the plug of the recirculation valve downwards.
e.
Slide the flexible discharge tube housing into the valve
block up to the stop.
f.
Push the housing all the way down.
g.
Put on the valve toggle made for the discharge valve
and press it in firmly. In doing so, pay attention to the
color coding and label (see assembly instructions 'Flexi-
ble discharge tubing for Dispensette® S').
Use a bottle stand (Accessories/spare parts, p. 72).

Use the assembly tool to unscrew the air vent cap.
b.
Screw in the filled drying tube.
