caps must be checked by the user.
2.5.2 Dispensette S Organic
Never use Dispensette® S Organic for:
Liquids that attack Al
ETFE, FEP, PFA, and PTFE (e.g., dissolved
sodium azide*)
Liquids that attack borosilicate glass (e.g.,
hydrofluoric acid)
Bases and salt solutions
Explosive liquids
* Dissolved sodium azide permitted up to a concentration of max. 0.1 %.
** Alternatively, ETFE/PTFE bottle adapters and ETFE/PTFE screw caps can be used (accessories from
Accessories/spare parts, p. 72). The suitability of ETFE/PTFE bottle adapters and ETFE/PTFE screw
caps must be checked by the user.

2.6 Storage Conditions

Store the unit and accessories in a cool and dry place in cleaned condition only.
Storage temperature from −20 to 50°C (−4 to 122°F).

2.7 Recommended Application Range

Dispensette® S offers a wide range of applications for dispensing aggressive reagents (e.g., concen-
trated acids such as H
PO
3
ous polar solvents).
Dispensette® S Organic is used for dispensing organic solvents (e.g., chlorinated and fluorinated hy-
drocarbons such as trichlorotrifluoroethane and dichloromethane or acids such as concentrated HCI
and HNO
as well as for trifluoroacetic acid (TFA), tetrahydrofuran (THF) and peroxides).

Dispenser selection
For guidelines on selecting the right dispenser, please observe the corresponding exclusions of use
and the following 'Dispenser Selection Chart'.
Dispensing hydrofluoric acid (HF)
For dispensing hydrofluoric acid (HF), we recommend the use of the Dispensette® S Trace Analysis
bottle-top dispenser with platinum-iridium valve spring (see separate operating manual).
