9.2 Cleaning Digital model

1. Completely emptying the instrument
a.
Screw the instrument onto an empty bottle and empty it completely by dispensing. If the instru-
ment is equipped with a recirculation valve, it must be emptied in both the 'dispense' and 'recir-
culate' settings.
2. Rinsing the instrument
a.
Screw the instrument onto a bottle filled with a suitable cleaning agent (e.g. deionized water)
and rinse the instrument several times by completely filling and emptying it.
3. Removing pistons
Avoid swapping pistons
The pistons and cylinders are individually matched, and should not be swapped with pistons from
other instruments!

S Organic, slide the piston into the cylinder vertically with a rotating motion.

NOTICE
Clean the piston and cylinder and reassemble the in-
strument. If necessary carefully remove deposits at the
edge of the glass cylinder.
Rinse the piston and cylinder with deionized water, and
dry them carefully.
Insert the piston completely into the cylinder and then
reassemble the instrument. The piston can only be in-
serted into the cylinder when the discharge tube is at-
tached.
NOTICE
Carry out assembly and disassembly at the maximum
volume setting only. To do this, turn the volume adjust-
ment wheel as far as it will go in + direction (= maximum
volume).
Slide the latch to the left.
Remove the front housing shell.
