& WARNING Risk of chemical burns and poi-
soning from damaged high-voltage battery

been damaged, electrolyte and gases may
leak out.
Avoid contact with the skin, eyes or
#
clothing.
Immediately rinse electrolyte splashes
#
off with water and seek medical atten-
tion straight away.
& DANGER Risk of fire and explosion from
excessive internal pressure of the high-

can escape and ignite.
If there is an unusual smell, smoke or
#
burn marks, stop the charging process
immediately.
Leave the danger zone immediately.

Observe the following notes on vehicle noise
emissions and the acoustic vehicle alert system:
The vehicle is equipped with a purely electric
R
drive system and produces considerably lower

stationary and vehicle noise emissions than
vehicles with a combustion engine.
It is for this reason that the vehicle is equip-
ped with a sound generator, which serves as
an acoustic vehicle alert system (AVAS).
The sound generator generates stationary
R
noise and speed-dependent vehicle noise
emissions when the vehicle is driving forwards
or reversing at a speed of up to around
25 mph (30 km/h)
This helps other road users, particularly
pedestrians and cyclists, to hear your vehicle
better.
When you drive at speeds above 20 mph
R
(20 km/h) the acoustic vehicle alert system
will gradually switch off.
Despite the sound generator, the vehicle still
R
may not be heard by other road users. Adapt
your driving style accordingly.
