124 Seats and stowing
If you wish to fold one of the outer seat backr-

ests forwards together with the center seat
backrest, it is recommended that you fold the
left and center seat backrests forwards.
Folding the center rear seat backrest forwards
separately
If you no longer require the folded-down seat
backrest as a loading area, fold the backrest back
into place.
Press release catch 3.

* NOTE Damage caused by trapping the
seat belt when folding back the seat back-
rest
The seat belt could become trapped and thus
damaged when the seat backrest is folded
back.
Make sure that the seat belt is not trap-

ped when folding back the seat backrest.
Move the driver's or front passenger seat for-

wards, if necessary.
Swivel seat backrest 1 back until it engages.

If the seat backrest is not engaged and locked
in place, red lock verification indicator
