4.11 Maintenance procedure
Every 1000 hours service
9. Install the oil filler cap.
10. To bleed the air, start the engine according to "Starting
engine (3-112)" and run the engine at low idle for 10 min-
utes.
11. Stop the engine.
12. Check for oil leakage and wipe off any spilled oil.
When the hydraulic breaker is installed, the hydraulic oil deterio-
rates earlier than in normal bucket digging work.
The first element replacement should be at 100 to 150 hours for
new machines. Thereafter, replace the element, see "Wear parts
list (4-15)".
