1 Introduction

1.1 Overview of the Manual

This manual provides detailed instructions for Configuration and Operation of the WEBS-PA-1
Communications Module. It is recommended to read this instruction manual completely before
starting any configuration.

1.2 Intended Audience

This manual is targeted for system administrators, who would configure and maintain the WEBS
devices. Fundamental knowledge with respect to networking and VoIP is essential in understanding
this manual.

1.3 Objective

This manual provides the required steps to configure and register the WEBS-PA-1 Communications
Module with a WEBS Contact® Server. It guides an administrator through the configuration of the
Communications Module via the Web GUI interface. Configuring other VoIP network elements is
beyond the scope of this document.
