Huawei does not provide channel steel or expansion bolts used for securing channel steel.
It is recommended that the customer purchase at least 80 mm wide channel steel.
 Ensure that the distance between the outer surfaces of channel steels is 850 mm and secure
the channel steels to the floor using expansion bolts.
 Align the mounting holes in the cabinet with mounting holes in the channel steels, and
secure the cabinet to the channel steels using bolts.

Ensure that the surface of channel steels is smooth.
Step 1 Determine the cabinet installation position on the channel steels based on the securing holes
of the cabinet.
Step 2 Drill mounting holes on the channel steels using a hammer drill.
Step 3 Adjust the four anchor bolts at the bottom of the UPS cabinet until all the four castors at the
bottom hang in the air and the anchor bolts bear all of the cabinet weight.
Step 4 Use a pallet truck to move the cabinet to the installation position.
Step 5 Remove the rear cover from the cabinet and open the front door.
Step 6 Remove the four rubber plugs (two at the front and two at the rear) from the bottom of the
cabinet.
Step 7 Use common M12x75 bolts to secure the cabinet into the mounting holes in the channel steels
and tighten the bolts.

Unsecured Installation
Step 1 Adjust the four anchor bolts at the bottom of the UPS cabinet until all the four castors at the
bottom hang in the air and the anchor bolts bear all of the cabinet weight.
