Removing and reinstalling cash box

The banknote cash box is secured in place within the note validator/recycler (interlock system).
The cash box may only be reinserted in rearmed condition! Meaning that it has to be opened and closed
again before it can be reinserted.
Before removing the cash box, please make sure, that you have access to either the key of the cash box
you want to remove or another rearmed cash box for replacement purposes.
To remove the banknote cash box you need the interlock key:
1
Open interlock system (see chapter 4.3.1 "Unlocking and relocking interlock system", p. 20).
2
Unfold [A] the yellow cash box handle [1] and pull the cash box out of the chassis [B], if necessary, bring the handle back into its initial
position.
3
Reinstall a rearmed cash box or empty the module (see Chapter 4.4.1 "Emptying BNA6 Advance & BNR Advance note validator and note
recycler", p. 31).
In case you are not able to pull the cash box out of the chassis though the interlock system is unlocked, a piston of the acceptance
module could be jammed in the cash box (see separate Service and Repair manual).
To reinstall a rearmed cash box:
1
Reinsert the cassette until it locks in place [C].
It should be easy to insert the cash box with only little force!
If you are not able to click the cash box into place, please ensure that the indicator above the lock is green and the yellow interlock
system lever shows its red marking (see chapter 4.3.1 "Unlocking and relocking interlock system", p. 20). In case the cash box
indicator is not green but gray, the cash box has to be opened and closed again to rearm it (see Chapter 4.4.1 "Emptying BNA6
Advance & BNR Advance note validator and note recycler", p. 31). The indicator should be green now.
2
Relock the interlock system (see chapter 4.3.1 "Unlocking and relocking interlock system", p. 20).
3
Reset the note validator/recycler.
