Pass
The key switch tested good. Go to
the steps listed.
Fail
The key switch failed the test. Replace the key switch. Go to
(page 19)
and follow the steps listed.
Step 4: Remove 2 access covers to aid troubleshooting.

continuity, and verify that there are no short conditions.

Step 5.1: Check for battery voltage and possible damage to the battery wire
harness and to the main wire harness.
Use the Li+ diagnostic wire harness, Toro P/N 120-6339.
Step 5.1.1: Check the operation of the machine.
1. Install the Li+ battery diagnostic wire harness. Refer to

Note: If the machine starts, the fault is likely in the battery wire harness.

1. Rotate the key switch to the O
2. Disconnect the battery pack by disconnecting the Li+ diagnostic wire harness P04 connector. Refer to

3. Attach the multimeter to the Li+ diagnostic wire harness P04 connector, POS and NEG pins.
Note: After you connect the P06 and P07 connectors together in step 4A, the voltage will only be present
for approximately 2 to 3 seconds to accomplish Step 4B.
4. Perform the following 2 steps (A and B) simultaneously:
A. On the diagnostic wire harness, connect the P06 and P07 connectors together. Refer to
