Resetting the CPU

q Make sure the transceiver power is OFF.
w While holding down
to turn ON power.
• The internal CPU is reset, and all memory data
are cleared.
• The transceiver displays its initial VFO frequen-
cies when resetting is complete.
e All Quick Set mode/Set mode settings are returned
to their default values. (pp. 26, 27)
Resetting CLEARS all programmed contents in
memory channels and returns to their default val-
ues in Quick Set mode and Set mode.
