Time Zone

On this page, you can change the system time of the ONT, or enable the ONT to update its system
time with the Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP) server.
To access the page, log in to the web UI of the ONT and choose Admin > Time Zone.

Current Time
It specifies the current system time of the ONT. You can change it manually.
Time Zone Select
It specifies the time zone where the ONT locates.
Daylight Saving Time (DST) is the practice of advancing clocks during warmer months so
that darkness falls later each day according to the clock.
Enable Daylight
With it is enabled, the ONT sets the time forward by one hour in the spring ("spring
Saving Time
forward") and set the time back by one hour in autumn ("fall back") to return to standard
time. In other words, there is one 23-hour day in late winter or early spring and one 25-
hour day in the autumn.
It specifies whether to enable automatic update of system time through synchronization
with SNTP server.
Enable SNTP
The SNTP is a time synchronization protocol of the TCP/IP protocol family. It is based on
Client Update
the connectionless User Datagram Protocol (UDP) and can be used on all supporting
devices to synchronize system time in IP networks.
It specifies the interface through which the ONT updates its system time with the SNTP
WAN Interface
server.
You can choose a preset SNTP server, or manually set the IP address for updating system
SNTP Server
time.
