Overview

The ONT provides connectivity diagnosis tools, which include Ping and Tracert. You can use these
tools to test the connectivity to the internet, a certain IP address or domain name.
Ping: It is a utility that helps to check if an IP address or domain name is accessible or
not. Ping works by sending a packet to the specified address and waits for the reply. It
also measures round trip time and reports errors.
Tracert: It is a utility that traces a packet from your computer to the host, and will
also show the number of steps (hops) required to reach there, along with the time by
each step.
To access the page, log in to the web UI of the ONT and choose Diagnostics. Both tools include
IPv4 (Ping/Tracert) and IPv6 (Ping6/Tracert6) versions. The IPv4 version is used for illustration.
