The monitoring serves to check for the presence and correct assembly of the electrical release
device on the QRV valve.
If the release device is present and correctly assembled, the monitoring switch is activated. If the
release device is disassembled or incorrectly assembled, the switch is not activated and transmits
a signal to the fire detection and suppression control panel. There, the absence or incorrect assem-
bly of the electrical release device is displayed as a fault.
The monitoring is mounted on the QRV valve with a clamp.
