Clearing a Jam in an E23/E24 Banknote Recycler

The triple flashing of the red LEDs at the top of the banknote recycler indicates that
at least one banknote is jammed in the
E23/E24 feeder or acceptance unit
·
E23/E24 spine
·
E24 loading unit
·
E23/E24 cash box
·
The POS screen should tell you in which banknote recycler unit the banknote is
jammed.

Clearing a Banknote Jam in the E23/E24 Feeder or Acceptance Unit

To retrieve the jammed note(s) and return functionality to the machine please first of all check the re-
cycler's feeder for jammed notes:

Gain access to the banknote recycler

From the rear side of the recycler push both yellow
latch buttons [1] on the top of the recycler [A] and

simultaneously unfold the upper rear flap [2] [A].
Now you are able to unfold the flap on the top cover-
ing the feeder.

Please contact your Service Partner whenever the POS
screen signals that a banknote is jammed in the E23 or
E24 cash box.
