Clearing a Coin Jam in a Hopper
The coin hoppers detect, if coins can no longer be transported due to a jam. In this case
they change the rotational direction of the motor, so that the coins are split up on the
payout disc and can be paid out again when rechanging the rotational direction.
If the coin accumulation and pressure onto the payout disc is too high, coins can jam in
the payout disk or return slot and the motor can no longer turn the disk. Then:

Gain access to the coin recycler

Open the payout unit

Make sure that there are no coins jammed in the
payout slot of the hopper triggering the error mes-
sage. If so, pull the (red) coin(s) out of the slot [A].

Make sure that the flap [1] protecting the payout
slot is not bent and can be moved freely upwards
and downwards [B]. For this,

If the steps above do not reset the error there are more
coins jammed in the payout disk. To free the coins:

Remove the hopper

Empty the hopper, remove all coins jammed and
keep the coins in safe place for reassembly.
If that does not work as expected:

Remove the hopper bowl by pressing the locking
latch [2] on both sides and detach the bowl [C].

Extract the payout disc [3] [D] and keep it in safe
place for reassembly.

Remove all coins jammed.

Reinsert payout disc.

Insert the mounting studs [4] of the hopper base
into the guides of the bowl and let engage locking
latches [2] [E].

Refill all removed coins and

Close payout unit again
