Adding an entry to the directory

Follow this procedure to add an entry to the directory. If you are unfamiliar with
how to use the dialpad to enter text, see
(page 107)
Prerequisites
You must be logged on.
Procedure steps

Using the Directory menu
before you begin this procedure.
Action
From the Directory menu, scroll to the New Entry screen.
Press Ok.
The Number screen appears.
Use the dialpad to enter the number and press Ok.
The Surname screen appears.
Use the dialpad to enter the surname and press Ok.
The First Name screen appears.
Use the dialpad to enter the first name and press Ok.
The Feature Key Format screen appears.
Perform one of these steps
• If you want to assign the entry to a soft key, select the key and
press Ok.
• If you do not want to assign the entry to a soft key, press Ok
without selecting a key.
The Save screen appears.
Press Ok to save your entry.
A confirmation screen appears.
