Check the spri n gs for st re n gth by measu r i n g thei r
free l en gths and a l so the fo rce req u i red to com p ress
t h e m . I f the l i m it i n d i cated be l ow is exceeded by
the free length rea d i n g or if the measu red fo rce
does not fa l l with i n the ra n ge specified, rep l ace
with a S U Z U K I spring as a set.

c l ose- p itch end CD of each spring goes in fi rst
to rest on the head . The coi l p itch of both the
i n ner a n d oute r spri ngs va ry : the pitch decreases
from top to botto m, as shown in the i l l ustrat i o n .
