NEEDLE VAlVE INSPECTION
I f fo re i g n matte r is caught between the va l ve seat
and the need l e, the gaso l i n e wi l l conti n ue f l ow i n g
and ca use it to ove rfl ow. I f the seat and n eed l e a re
worn beyond the perm issi b l e l i m its, si m i l a r t rou b l e
wi l l occ u r. Conve rse l y, i f t h e n eed l e sticks, the
gaso l i n e wi l l n ot f l ow i n to the fl oat chamber.
C l ea n the fl oat chamber a nd f l oat pa rts with
gaso l i n e . I f the n eed l e is wo rn as shown i n the
i l l ustration, rep l ace it together with a va l ve seat.
C l ean the fuel passage of the m i x i n g chamber with
compressed air.
