N OTE :
When the e n g i n e m isfires o r idles u nsmoothly,
attempt to discon nect t h e c h a r g i n g lead w i re
of the m a g n eto (three yellow w i res ) . If the
e n g i ne resumes its smooth o peration with this
disconnecti o n , the regulator/rectifier is fau lty
and should b e replaced .
