Problem: Illumination and aiming beams are OFF.
Solution:
1. Verify that the scanner is properly powered up.
2. Send "?" to the scanner. If the scanner returns a reply of "!", then send programming commands to turn
on illumination and aimer.
Problem: Carriage Return/Line Feed settings.
Solution: See the "Terminating Character Suffix" section in Chapter 7.
