This section describes how to configure two general purpose GPIO pins, pins 6 and 13, located on
the DB-15 connector on the rear of the BDU (see Figure 7-2). This configuration includes
activating the pins with output voltage of about 3.3V, setting the pins as an input and reading the
applied voltage value, and a satellite connectivity status feature. A "high" reading indicates that
the input pin is reading about 3.3V, and "low" indicates a reading of about 0V. The two pins can
be configured in any combination.
If a pin is set to Input, the maximum voltage applied should be 3.3VDC. Higher
voltages could damage the BDU.
