2 Preparing the column heater
Whenever you loosen fittings during maintenance, examine them for
cracks, stripped threads, and deformations.
Do not reuse stainless steel fittings more than six times.
When installing or removing a column or optional in-line filter, always
hold the active preheater's reusable compression fitting in place and
rotate the column or in-line filter onto the fitting.
When tightening system fittings, consult the following table:
