Maintenance Procedures

This chapter provides the maintenance guidelines and procedures
necessary to maintain the column heater's performance. Keep to a
maintenance schedule and perform maintenance as required and
described in this chapter.
Perform the procedures in this chapter when you discover that a column
heater component malfunctioned or during routine maintenance. For
information about isolating such problems, consult the ACQUITY UPLC
Console online Help.
Under normal operating conditions, the column compartments do not
require any maintenance. If residue from solvent leaks accumulates in
the column compartment, remove the column and wipe the compartment
clean with a soft cloth.
