Each assembly consists of two sections: an inner fixed chassis rail that secures directly to the
server chassis and an outer fixed rack rail that secures directly to the rack itself. Note that the inner
rail may be pre-installed on the server by the SGI factory making separation steps unnecessary.
To separate the inner and outer rails, perform the following steps:
1. Locate the rail assembly in the chassis packaging as shown in
2. Extend the rail assembly by pulling it outward.
3. Press the quick-release tab
4. Separate the inner rail from the outer rail assembly.
